A place for everyone to train

If you're interested in seeing what classes you can do at Standup Boxing, take a scroll down this page and find all the relevant information. There are mixed classes for adults, women's only classes, kids classes, full contact classes and bootcamps too. The training environment is one where you will definitely feel comfortable, get along with people and reach your goals - whether that be to increase your overall fitness, physical abilities or get into amateur fighting.

How much is training?

Training is $27.50 per week, with flexible payment options available. The best way to get started, though, is to register for a free 10-week pass.

FUNDAMENTALS BOXING

MONDAY TO THURSDAY 6PM-7.30PM

All Levels – No experience necessary. This is the perfect place for beginners to 'learn the ropes' and for more experienced members to refine the basics. In each class, you will be challenged with a near non-stop plyometric workout that will get you burning lots of calories (around 800 to be precise), and you'll be giving your body a reason to use its stationery energy. When you take part in the Fundamentals Boxing class you'll be taken through all the basics skills; punches, combinations, footwork, ducking and slipping, and intense conditioning.

Advanced Boxing

MONDAY TO THURSDAY 7PM-8PM

These classes are not for fighters only! They are for any member interested in putting everything they’ve learned together in a safe, controlled setting. Cardio typically includes three rounds of warm-up exercises, such as shadowboxing or jumping rope. The focus is on real-time application and implementation, it also includes supervised sparring (safety equipment must be worn when sparring) and freestyle drills.

WOMEN'S CARDIO BOXING

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY 8PM-9PM

The Women's Only Cardio Boxing class combines punching, bag workouts, weights, cardio, and skipping all with the goal to improve your stamina, tone your muscles, and burn some calories. Focus on fun sweet weight loss not on fighting. You'll learn a little, sweat a lot and most of all, expect to enjoy your training experience. Best of all you're not limited to just this class, if you want to broaden your skill base you can join in any other class that suits your fancy.

YOUTH BOXING CLASSES

TUESDAY & THURSDAY 5.15PM-6PM

Youth Boxing classes are geared towards personal safety and creating a courageous and health-conscious younger generation. At Standup Boxing youths take part in training that is designed to develop strong, athletic, and motivational skills that your kids will carry with them throughout their lifetime. On top of this, they also train to further enhance physical attributes such as balance, coordination, agility, correct stance, self defence, boxing skills, and sportsmanship. These classes are suited for ages 10 to 15.

BOOTCAMP WITH 4-1 CHARLIE

MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY 5.30am-6.30am

Do you find yourself lacking energy during your daily routine? Why not start every day off with a bang and treat yourself to our Boxing Boot camps?! While most people will be asleep at 5.45am, you'll be waking up, working out, and getting a head start on your day. In this hour-long heart-pumping session lead by ex-Infantry soldier Kyle Wilson, you'll be challenged to go past your limits with routines focused on everything from cardio to weighted exercises. These sessions will inspire you to give your best every time. Go it alone, bring some friends or make some new ones - either way, do yourself a favour and join these bootcamp sessions!

BOXING BOOTCAMP

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 5.45am-6.45am

Start your mornings with Boxing Bootcamp sessions, lead by Boxing Coach David Jenkins. You'll be warmed up, ready and raring to go and during each session you'll spend lots of time doing pad work as well as body weight, cardio and abs exercises- things like press ups, squats, lunges, sit ups, sprints and team fun! You'll always end the session with lots of cool down stretches.
