If you’re interested in seeing what classes you can do at Standup Boxing, take a scroll down this page and find all the relevant information. There are mixed classes for adults, women’s only classes, kids classes, full contact classes and bootcamps too. The training environment is one where you will definitely feel comfortable, get along with people and reach your goals – whether that be to increase your overall fitness, physical abilities or get into amateur fighting.

Training is $32.00 per week

ALL LEVELS BOXING MORNING CLASSES

WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY 5.30AM-6.30AM

SATURDAY 8.00AM-9.00AM

All Levels Boxing sessions, lead by Boxing Coach David Jenkins.

You’ll be warmed up, ready and raring to go and during each session you’ll spend lots of time doing pad work as well as body weight, cardio and abs exercises – things like press ups, squats, lunges, sit ups, sprints and team fun!

You’ll always end the session with lots of cool down stretches.

Morning classes are normally held on Wednesday Friday and Saturday morning and these days do change.

Morning sessions are more fitness based then everning classes but still based on boxing skills and fitness.

ALL LEVELS BOXING

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY 6.00PM-7.30PM

All Levels Boxing sessions, lead by Boxing Coach David Jenkins.

KIDS BOXING CLASSES

TUESDAY & THURSDAY 5.15PM-6PM

These classes are suited for ages 7 to 13

Kids Boxing classes are geared towards personal safety and creating a courageous and health-conscious younger generation.

At Standup Boxing kids take part in training that is designed to develop strong, athletic, and motivational skills that your kids will carry with them throughout their lifetime.

On top of this, they also train to further enhance physical attributes such as balance, coordination, agility, correct stance, self defence, boxing skills, and sportsmanship.

Classes teach the basic skills needed to box. 

There is no sparring in kids classes 

SKILLS & CONDITIONING

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY 6:30PM – 7:30PM

All Levels – No experience necessary

This is the perfect place for beginners to ‘learn the ropes’ and for more experienced members to refine the basics.

In each class, you will be challenged with a near non-stop plyometric workout that will get you burning lots of calories (around 800 to be precise), and you’ll be giving your body a reason to use its stationery energy.

When you take part in the Fundamentals Boxing class you’ll be taken through all the basics skills; punches, combinations, footwork, ducking and slipping, and intense conditioning.

Advanced Boxing

MONDAY & WEDNESDAY 5:30PM-6:30PM

Advanced classes are a full contact class.
Advanced classes are to put into action the skills learned in all level classes and other classes
All participants are required to have mouth guards head gear and 16 oz gloves

Line Sparring

Corner Sparring

Contact Drills etc
